My story with Microsoft

MY STORY WITH MICROSOFT:

                
                                Hi, I am Gopinath Harini pursuing my B.Tech.(Computer Science Engineering) from Aurora's Technological and Research Institute, Hyderabad. I have registered for Microsoft Student Associate to start my career in technology.

How Microsoft has impacted my life:

Even though there are many Operating Systems, through Windows the PC finally entered the public imagination. Simply, you could install a Windows OS on anything that had an IBM architecture to it. Needless to say, people flocked to the idea. Soon after the advent of the Windows OS,the PC was quickly on its way to becoming a household term.

                                  I have been using Microsoft products since from my childhood. Coming to different versions of OS, My first experience with windows operating system was when I was 8 years old,i have seen "Windows 98" flashing on the screen every time when I switch on the computer. 
                                
                                Their newest venture, Windows 8.1 gives me ease of use the system. In windows 8.1, The desktop I used to (with its familiar folders and icons) is still there.Also it's better than before, with a new task manager and streamlined file management.And we can always get to your desktop and back to your Start screen again with a tap or click. 
                               
                                Some of the familiar features found in windows 8.1 are start screen, tiles, personal lock screen and picture password. Everything from the task bar to the start screen to the Windows Explorer has become a part of common knowledge because of smart marketing by Microsoft. 

How you plan to bring a change to the society being a Microsoft Student Associate?

                   
                            If I am given a chance as a Microsoft Student Associate, I would ensure to drive student outreach and learning initiatives by hosting activities like workshops, boot camps etc. I would be a catalyst in driving initiatives around social impact involving students from local campuses. also, I would contribute in empowering the industry and academia ecosystem by constantly playing a role of an evangelist in the community.

                          I have passion for Microsoft Technologies and products. Also I am very energetic, self-motivated with strong work ethics. I have excellent verbal communication skills. My aim is to make people specially students aware of the latest Microsoft technologies and advancements by conducting workshops which will help them to get upgraded. Nearly 58% of new PC’s sold with pirated software are infected with malware and I will motivate the students to approach Dream Spark for the original software downloads, by the end of my tenure I would make computing, a trust worthy entity in my society.

                          I ensure you that if I am given a chance I will give my complete efforts to complete the assigned tasks.
